What exactly is biophilic design? +
Biophilic design is an architectural framework that weaves the patterns and forms of nature into the built environment to strengthen the human-nature connection. For us, this means moving beyond simple decoration to create environments where plants actively improve air quality, acoustics, and well-being.
Do you offer one-off styling, or only ongoing care? +
We offer both! You can hire us to design, source, and install your botanical collection. Once installed, you can choose to care for them yourself using our provided care guides, or you can opt into our ongoing maintenance subscription for total peace of mind.
What is your service area? +
Our full-service design, installation, and maintenance packages are currently available within a 50-mile radius of our Portland, OR studio. For commercial projects outside this radius, please contact us to discuss travel and remote consultation options.
Are your plants safe for pets? +
Absolutely. During our initial consultation, we will ask about any pets or young children in the space. We have extensive knowledge of toxicity levels and can design a completely pet-safe botanical plan using non-toxic species.
What happens if a plant dies under your maintenance plan? +
Our comprehensive maintenance plan includes a plant health guarantee. If a plant declines or dies while under our active, uninterrupted care, we will replace it with a plant of similar size and value at no additional cost to you.
